Sleepy & Stuffed

I have more pics of the Double Helix Dash from last night for y’all. These are pictures that other peeps took (thanks HudsonAlpha & James for the pics). It’s cool to see all the happenings from different perspectives!  And lots of people got some really great ones of the event.

I love the aerial ones! They are by far some of my favorites I’ve seen.

Considering I haven’t been running (or exercising) much lately. I felt really good today. My legs were a tad stiff this morning when I got up but once I was moving around it was all good. I expected to be really sore. Unless it’s waiting for tomorrow…hmmm.

I was gonna go for a bike ride after work but bailed. I didn’t get the greatest night’s sleep last night and it’s been pretty busy at work this week too. Add the excitement of the race… Well at about 3PM today I crashed. I wanted nothing more than to head to the house. So I did.

I got out and watered all my budding crops and played with the puppies for a bit as soon as I got home. While I was doing all that, I had tomatoes, garlic and an onion roasting in the oven for some tomato soup. I plan on actually making the soup tomorrow but went ahead and got this part done. It smelled so flipping good! :tounge:

Dinner was crazy simple and crazy good. And I ate way too much! I feel like I may pop! I had a hot dog with mustard and onions, mac & cheese and broccoli slaw with Dijon, honey and olive oil mixed together as the dressing. Mmmmm….

Plus, not one, but two glasses of skim milk. Oh my stuffed tummy!

That’s all I got for today. I plan on chilling hard the rest of the night. I hope y’all have had a great day!
